With so many fruits and vegetables in season during the summer months, now is one of the best times to shop local for your produce. Not sure where to start? We’ve compiled a list of the best markets in and around Atlanta this season. Most of these markets run through the fall (some are even year round), but dates and times are always subject to change, so please review a market’s official site before heading out to shop.
Alpharetta: City Hall // North and South Broad Street. Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Brookhaven: 1375 Fernwood Circle NE. Saturdays 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Decatur: 308 Clairemont Avenue. Wednesdays 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
East Atlanta: 572 Stokeswood Avenue. Thursday 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Dunwoody: Brook Run Park // 4770 North Peachtree Road. Saturdays 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Emory University: McDonough Plaza. Tuesdays 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. (special schedule for school breaks/holidays)
Freedom Parkway: Carter Center Library. Saturdays 8:30 a.m. – noon.
Grant Park: 1039 Grant Street SE. Sundays 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Lilburn: 1400 Killian Hill Road. Fridays from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. *Begins May 6th
Marietta Square: 41 Mill Street. Saturdays 9 a.m. – noon.
Morningside: 1411 N. Morningside Drive. Saturdays 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Norcross: Thrasher Park. Wednesdays 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. *Begins May 4th
Peachtree Road: 2744 Peachtree Road. Saturdays 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Piedmont Park: 12th Street and Piedmont (see website for parking directions). Saturdays 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Ponce City Market: The “Trestle” at Ponce City Market. Wednesdays 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Roswell: Roswell Presbyterian Church. Saturdays 8 a.m. - noon.
