Do you know how you will be spending your 4th of July holiday? If you’re still looking for ideas, here’s our 2023 guide to all the best celebrations taking place across Metro Atlanta in honor of our nation’s birthday.

Alpharetta – Wills Park (July 4th): The city of Alpharetta will set off fireworks just after dusk on Tuesday, July 4th.

Atlanta – Look Up Atlanta! (July 1st): Taking place in Centennial Olympic Park on Saturday, July 1, Look Up Atlanta is the largest metropolitan fireworks show in the U.S. Gates will open at 5 pm and fireworks are anticipated to start shortly after dark. This is a ticketed event – prices start at $10/guest.
Atlanta Braves – (July 4th): The Braves will be on the road for the 4th of July, but they will be hosting the Marlins on Saturday, July 1st. Enjoy fireworks after the game!
Chamblee – (July 4th): The Chamblee Fireworks Celebration is back again, but at a new location this year – downtown Chamblee at the new City Hall greenspace! Festivities start at 6:30 pm.
Cumming Fairgrounds (July 4th): Fireworks and activities will take place the evening of July 4th from 4 pm – 10 pm, and a steam engine parade will take place at 10 am on the 4th.
Decatur Square (July 4th): On Tuesday the 4th, the Pied Piper Parade will make its way through Downtown Decatur at 6 pm, the Concert on the Square will start at 5 pm, and fireworks will begin at dark.
Dunwoody (July 4th): The annual Dunwoody 4th of July Parade will kick off at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 4th.

Johns Creek – Newtown Park (July 3rd): Celebrate Independence Day on Monday, July 3rd at Newtown Park with live music, food and a firework display. Events begin at 6 pm.
Lilburn – City Park (July 4th): Lilburn’s Sparkle in the Park starts at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, July 4th and will include a variety of food, inflatables, face painters, balloon artists, performance by the GLOW Band and fireworks extravaganza!
Marietta Square (July 4th): The City of Marietta’s 4th In The Park Celebration begins Tuesday, July 4th at 10:00am and includes a parade, free live concerts, arts and crafts show, food, carnival games and fireworks finale.
Norcross – Lillian Webb Park (Monday, July 3rd): Norcross’ Red, White and Boom celebration is back on July 3rd! The event starts at 5 pm and will feature food trucks, games, and live music.
Roswell Area Park (July 4th) – Visit Roswell on Tuesday, July 4th for live music, entertainment, and food trucks. Bring your chairs and blankets to spread out at one of several fireworks viewing areas throughout the park. Event starts at 6 pm and Fireworks will start at sunset.
Sandy Springs (July 4th): Sandy Springs’ Stars and Stripes Celebration takes place on Tuesday, July 4th. The lawn opens at 4 pm, food trucks arrive at 6 pm, music starts at 7:30 pm, and fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.
Stone Mountain Park (July 1st – 5th): A full fireworks display will take place after every lasershow from July 1st through the 5th.
