Metro Atlanta 4th of July Celebrations 2025

From small-town parades to grand fireworks spectacles, Metro Atlanta lights up for the 4th of July! Whether you're craving community spirit, live music, or a dazzling firework display, there’s something for everyone:
Happy 4th of July!
Stone Mountain Park (July 1st – 7th): A full fireworks display will take place after every laser show from July 1st through the 7th.
Johns Creek – Newtown Park (July 3rd): Celebrate Independence Day on Thursday, July 3rd at Newtown Park with live music, food and a firework display. Events begin at 6 pm.
Lilburn – City Park (July 3rd): Lilburn’s Sparkle in the Park starts at 6 pm on Thursday, July 3rd and will include a variety of food, inflatables, face painters, balloon artists, and fireworks extravaganza!
Norcross – Lillian Webb Park (Thursday, July 3rd): Norcross’ Red, White and Boom celebration is back on July 3rd! The event starts at 5 pm and will feature food trucks, games, and live music.
Alpharetta – Wills Park (July 4th): The city of Alpharetta will set off fireworks just after dusk on Friday, July 4th.
Atlanta Braves – (July 4th): The Braves will be at home on the 4th of July and will face the Orioles at 7:15pm!
Chamblee – (July 4th): A series of concerts starts at 6 pm, and then fireworks start at 9 pm. There will be plenty of options for transportation to and from the event, with a shuttle, parking at nearby businesses, and a rideshare option to our rideshare park. Come out for a great night of food, fun, and fireworks!
Cumming Fairgrounds (July 4th): The traditional Steam Engine Parade will take place at 10 am, and the fireworks and activities will take place the evening of July 4th from 4 pm – 10 pm.
Decatur Square (July 4th): The Pied Piper Parade will make its way through Downtown Decatur at 6 pm on the 4th of July, the Concert on the Square will start at 7 pm, and fireworks will begin at dark.
Dunwoody (July 4th): The annual Dunwoody 4th of July Parade will kick off at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 4th.
Marietta Square (July 4th): The City of Marietta’s 4th In The Park Celebration begins Friday, July 4th at 10:00am and includes a parade, free live concerts, arts and crafts show, food, carnival games and fireworks finale.
Roswell Area Park (July 4th) – Visit Roswell on Friday, July 4th for live music, entertainment, and food trucks. Bring your chairs and blankets to spread out at one of several fireworks viewing areas throughout the park. Event starts at 6 pm and Fireworks will start at sunset.
Sandy Springs (July 4th): Sandy Springs’ Stars and Stripes Celebration takes place on Thursday, July 4th, starting at 6 pm.
